In a classroom of 20 kids, 3 girls are named Stephanie and 2 boys are

named John. The probability that a student picked at random is named
something other than Stephanie or John is what out of what?

Answer:

3/4 or 15/20

Explanation:

this is because, you know there is 3 girls named the same thing and two boys named the same thing so if you know there are 20 people in the class, you do 3g + 2b = 5/20

So the fraction is either 15/20 or 3/4 for reduced fraction.
