Answer:

The famous Sioux chief Sitting Bull was mistakenly believed to be a ghost dancer and was killed during an arrest by reservation police. This event would raise tensions in the reservation. Later a fight would break out between American soldiers and a small group of Ghost dancers were the soldiers would go on to kill around 150 innocent Indians including women and children that was then known as the Wounded Knee Massacre.
