Answer:

x=19

Explanation:

first you would distribute the -3 to the x and the 4 which would give you

4x-3x-12=7

next you would combine like terms (there's always an invisible 1 one front of a variable)

x-12=7

then to get the variable by itself you would add 12 on each side

x=19
