Explanation:

Each side must be 2 cm long

Using Heron's formula

Area = √(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) where s = semi-perimeter, a , b and c are the 3 side lengths.

So here s = 6/2 = 3 and all the sides = 2 so

Area = √(3(3-2)^3

= √3 cm.
