Explanation:

Let t be the time (in hours) after noon.

Stock(A) = 16.09 + 0.12 (t +3)

Stock(B) = 16.84 - 0.15t

Stock(A) = Stock(B)

16.09 + 0.12 (t+3) = 16.84 - 0.15t

16.09 + 0.12t + 0.36 = 16.84 - 0.15t

0.27t = 0.39

t=1.44 hours
