If you make y equal to P(x) then y would equal 1.

However else P(x) is defined, it is going to equal 1.

So for example

P(x) = 4x^3 + 5x^2 + 2x + 9

and the question defines P(x) = 1

Then 4x^3 + 5x^2 + 2x + 9 = 1
