1 - a) x^2+10=36

b)x^2=36

x=-6 OR x=6

2 - a) 2x^2-20=3x

b) 2x^2-3x-20=0

2x^2-8x+5x-20=0

(2x+5)(x-4)=0

x=-5/2 OR x=4
