Explanation//answer:

We move all terms to the left:

5(x-6)+8-2x-(x+2(x-11))=0

We add all the numbers together, and all the variables

-2x+5(x-6)-(x+2(x-11))+8=0

We multiply parentheses

-2x+5x-(x+2(x-11))-30+8=0

We calculate terms in parentheses: -(x+2(x-11)), so:

x+2(x-11)

We multiply parentheses

x+2x-22

We add all the numbers together, and all the variables

3x-22

Back to the equation:

-(3x-22)

We add all the numbers together, and all the variables

3x-(3x-22)-22=0

We get rid of parentheses

3x-3x+22-22=0

We add all the numbers together, and all the variables

=0

x=0/1

x=0
