Answer:

m = 6.557

Explanation:

Subtract 10 from both sides:

4m^2 = 172

Divide both sides by 4:

m^2 = 43

take the square root of both sides:

$\sqrt m^2 = \sqrt{43$

m = 6.557

Does that make sense?
