Divide each piece by -12

(-24k)/(-12) = 2k

120/(-12) = -10

So we go from -24k+120 to -12(2k-10)

We can use distribution to check if we got the right answer

-12(2k-10) = -12*(2k) - 12(-10) = -24k + 120

So the answer is confirmed.

Answer:

-12(2k-10)

Explanation:

You divide each term by -12, and then put -12 outside of the parenthesis. The parenthesis contain the new equation you just created.
