Given the domain {-4, 0, 5}, what is the range for the relation y = -2x + 4?

Answer:

{12, 4, -6}

Explanation:

I believe that would be your answer.

If we substitute -4 for x in y= -2x+4 you get, 12

y= -2(-4)+4

y= 8+4

y= 12

Then for 0

y= -2(0)+4

y= 4

Then for 5

y= -2(5) +4

y= -10 + 4

y= 6

12, 4, 6.
