jack and Jill went out to eat. Their bill came to $39.45 before tax. If there was a 6% tax on the meal, how much did it cost in all?

Sup human, here's your Answer: $41.81

Explanation:

To find the % of something simply turn the % (6) to a decimal (.06) then multiply it by 39.45

SO... 39.45 * .06= 2.36

$2.36 is the total tax you'd owe, add that to the meal (39.45+2.36) and you get 41.81
