f(x) = x^3 -6x^2 -11x +k \\\\\text{If (x +3) is a factor of f(x), then,}~ f(-3) = 0\\\\~~~~~~~f(-3) = 0\\\\\implies(-3)^3-6(-3)^2 -11(-3) +k = 0\\ \\\implies -27-54+33 +k=0\\\\\implies -48+k = 0\\\\\implies k = 48
