sale for $8 a pair. What is the maximum number he can buy if he needs to save $15 for the Uber ride
home? Write an inequality to represent this situation.

130=8x+15 and 14 pairs

Y=mx+b Since he has 130 dollars to spend, that is Y. He needs $15 to spend for an uber which would be b in an equation. He spends $8/per jean. 130(total)-15(uber)=$115 left. 115(total now)-8x. 8x14=112. 115(left)=112(14 pairs of jeans)
