A rectangular box with an open top has a length of x feet, a width of y feet, and a height of z feet. It costs $1.80 per square foot to build the base and $0.55 per square foot to build the sides. Write the cost C of constructing the box as a function of x, y, and z.

The dimensions are

x=length

y=width

z=height

cost of construction will be

= Area of the base * cost of the base + 2*Area of the sides of on type *cost

+ 2*Area of the side of second type*cost

Total cos=
x*y*1.80+ 2*y*z*0.55 + 2*x*z*0.55
