angle XYZ and ZWYZ are linear pairs. The m angle XYZ=(16f-25) and the m angle WYZ=(4f+30). What is the m angle XYZ ?

Answer:

linear pair of angles are 2 angles that are both adjacent and supplementary. All that means is that they're next to each other and touching (adjacent) and that their measures add up to 180 degrees (supplementary).

So, for this question, if angle xyz measures 23 degrees, then angle yzw must measure 180 - 23 degrees, or 157 degrees.
