= 2(x - 5) ^(2) + 4(x - 5) + 1

Now for the first term use the formula :


{a}^(2) - 2ab + {b}^(2)


= 2( {x}^(2) - 10x + 25) + 4(x - 5) + 1


= 2 {x}^(2) - 20x + 50 + 4x - 20 + 1


= 2 {x}^(2) - 20x + 4x + 50 - 20 + 1


= 2 {x}^(2) - 16x + 31
