Answer:

y = 2x² - 24x + 76

Explanation:

the equation of a parabola in vertex form is

y = a(x - h)² + k

where (h, k ) are the coordinates of the vertex and a is a multiplier

here a = 2 and (h, k ) = (6, 4 ) , then

y = 2(x - 6)² + 4 ← in vertex form

expand factor using FOIL

y = 2(x² - 12x + 36) + 4 ← distribute parenthesis by 2

y = 2x² - 24x + 72 + 4

y = 2x² - 24x + 76 ← in standard form
