A gas that has a volume of 22.8 L, a temperature of 42 degrees Celsius (!!), and an

unknown pressure has its volume increased to 37 L and its temperature decreased to
29 degrees Celsius (!!). If I measure the pressure after the change to be 1.69 atm,
what was the original pressure of the gas?

P1V1T2 = P2V2T1

P1(22.8)(302) = 1.69(37)(315)
P1(6,885.6) = 19,696.95
P1 = ~ 2.86 atm
