The stamps colonists had to buy were not that expensive. Yet this act really angered colonists and resulted in more widespread movement against colonial rule. Why do you think that is?

This act is a figure of Britain extending and enforcing their rule over the colonists. It was a drastic change from previously having no connection to the British and then changing to enforced rule and little say in Parliament.
