Now,

adding both equation, we get -

x + y + x - y = 8 + 3

2x = 11

x = 11/2

x = 5.5

Now, substituting the value of x on x + y = 8, we get -

5.5 + y = 8

y = 8 - 5.5

y = 2.5

Hence,

(5.5, 2.5) pair of coordinates satisfies both equations.
