Answer:y=-1/4x+5/4

Explanation:

Perpendicular means the slope has to be the negative reciprocal.

Since the slope is currently 4, the perpendicular slope is -1/4.

It also has to pass through the point 1,1 , so you just plug x in which will be

1*-1/4=-1/4. from 1 to -1/4, its 5/4, so that's your b in y = mx+b

The equation will then be y=-1/4x+5/4
