Find the line of the equation that passes through (3, -4) and is parallel to 3x + y + 2 = 0

leave your answer in the form of y = mx + c

hi

3x+y +2 = 0 so y = -3x-2

parrallel line has the same slope , so is -3x

then : -3 (3) +c = -4

-9 +c = -4

c = -4 +9

c = 5

so parallel is : y= -3x +5
