Ron jogs around a rectangular park of length 50 m and breadth 30 m. If he takes 10 rounds of the park each day, how much distance does he cover in a day in km?​

Answer:

1.6km

Explanation:

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 x length +2 x breadth

= 2(50) +2(30) = 160

This = 1 time around the park but he does it ten times

so 160 x 10 = 1600m

To get to km, we divide by 1000 since there are 1000m in a km

1600/1000=1.6km
