Answer:

Y = 2X - 4

Explanation:

The slope of the line is 2, this is because the line rises by 2 and goes to the right by one giving the number 2/1 or 2. This gives us 2X as the slope. The Y-intercept of the line is shown to be at -4, therefore the Y-intercept is -4 and can be put into the equation. This gives us Y = 2X - 4

Answer:

y = 2x -4

Explanation:

use the formula y = mx + b where b is the y-intercept at -4 and to find m (slope) do rise/run so take two coordinates like (0, -4) and (2, 0) and do y2 - y1 over x2 - x1 which is (0 - (-4)) / (2 - 0 ) = 4 / 2 = 2 therefore m = 2 and ploug into equation
