Starting with O; in inhaled air, describe in your own words the sequence of gas

movements from the inhalation of oxygen to the exhalation of carbon dioxide.

Answer:

We inhale oxygen through our nasal pasage and mouth, it passes epiglottis which leads air down to the lungs. It travels down the windpipe into right and left bronchi. Around alveoli (small air filled sacks) tiny capillaries bring blood to exchange gases. Oxygen moves from the lungs into the bloodstream and carbon dioxide moves from the bloodstream into the lungs where we exhale back from our mouth
