Answer:
$6.03
Pennies:
50 X 0.16 (16%) = $0.08 (8 pennies) (1 penny = $0.01)
Nickels:
8 + 2 (8 pennies) = 10 nickels = $0.50 (1 nickel = $0.05 ($0.05 X 10))
Dimes:
50 X 0.34 (34%) = 17 dimes (1 dime = $0.10) so: $0.10 X 17 = $1.70
Quarters:
50 - 8 - 10 - 17 = 15 (1 quarter = $0.25)
So: $0.25 X 15 = $3.75
Total amount:
$0.08
$0.50
$1.70
$3.75 +
