2.)Add/Subtract the numbers 2-18=-16 6k-16= -3k+11

3.)Add 16 to both sides

4.)Simplify 6k=-3k+27

5.)Add 3k to both sides

6.)Simplify 9k=27

7.)Divide both sides by 9

8.)Simplify k=3
