After the French Indian War, England was left broke. They decided since they fough the war to protect America, they should pay for it. So, England began passing acts that put heavy taxes on the colonist, some of these acts included the Stamp, Sugar, and Tea acts. Eventually, along with other reasons, America decided that they wanted independence. So, the French Indian War indirectly caused the American Revolution.
