So the slope of the line would be:

(5-1)/(-8-10) = 2/-9

So the equation of the line would be
Y = -2/9 - 9/20

A line running parallel to this would be any like with a slope of -2/9 but a different Y intercept

For example:

y = -2/9 + 1 would be parallel
