Use the definition of average acceleration:

a = ∆v / ∆t

Let x be the final velocity. Then

7.5 m/s² = (x - 25 m/s) / (8.0 s)

x = 25 m/s + (7.5 m/s²) (8.0 s)

x = 85 m/s
