If you know that the vertex of a function is (-3,2) and the value of a=-1 then what is the vertex form of the function

the vertex form would be f(x) = -1(x+3) +2
a is the slope of the equation
-3 is the h of the equation (which has to have the opposite sign when you make the equation from the vertex)
and 2 is the y intercept
