A car and a motor bike are priced at $33090. If the value of the car is three times the value of the motor bike, how much is the car worth?

So, you have the price combined for the motorcycle and car, and the car is 3x the amount of the bike. Here, we can separate their prices into fractions/percents (whatever works easiest for you). So, the car is 3/4 (75%) of the price, and the motorcycle is 1/4(25%) of the price.

Therefore, to find the price of the motorcycle, you multiply 33090 x 1/4 or .25 which equals $8272.50


And the car is 33090 x 3/4 or .75 which equals $24817.50.

The car is $24817.50
