What's 9 – (–2)? I just need help its solving integers and im confused.

Okay so this used to confuse me when I was younger but It's actually pretty simple, just imagine the subtraction sign, the parentheses, and the negative sign in front of the two turns into a plus sign. It's basically addition with more steps so instead of seeing this - ( - you can see this +. I hope this helps.
