The microscope allowed us to see a whole new world that was not so long ago unknown of even existing to us. We can study normal cells, abnormal cells, a whole microcosmos of one-celled organisms. We now know what organisms cause what diseases and by using a microscope that was all made possible. Today they are used for education and scientific work with finding new organisms and developing a plethora of new cures.
