Delia organised the same event last year . this year conference had a 12% increase in attendance compared to last year. 1071 people attended this year . how many attended last year?​

Answer:

1071/112=1%

1%= 9.5625

100%= 9.5625*100 = 956.25

Example:

112 People attendet this year. If the increase Was also 12%, a 112 people equals 112%. So,

112/112=1

1*100= 100

However, I am suprised that 956 and 0.25 People attendet the prevoius year. Are you Sure the Numbers are correct?
