Answer

y=0x+7

Explanation:

Parallel lines share the same slope, to solve, you need to find the slope of the line it is parallel to.

3-5y=15, since this equation has no x value, that basically means that the slope is 0.

Since the slope is 0 and you have an ordered pair, you can now substitute the ordered pair and the slope into slope intercept form to solve for 'b' or the y intercept.

y=mx+b

(-5,7)

7=0(-5)+b

b=7

y=0x+7
