If you extend the line with angle 52 down to make a bottom triangle you get a triangle with interior angles :

52
47 (complementary angle to 133)
X (angle complement of angle 1)

52 + 47 + x = 180
99 + x = 180
X = 81

That means angle 1 equals 180 - 81 = 99
