Simplify (q+8)2 please help, thank you

q^2 +16q+64

All you have to do is substitute the exponent two.

Q by itself is q squared: q^2

Q times 8 is 8q, and because of exponent you have to double it, which gives you 16q.

And 8 times itself is 64.
