answer: $1500 profit
reasoning:
the store purchased 300 m of fabric at $900 (6 x 50 = 300; 6 x 150 = 900).
the retail price for all that fabric would be $2400 ($8 x 300 m = $2400).
$2400 - $900 = $1500
