This is awsome cause its super easy to find the slope and y intercept if you know exactly where to look.

so if try looking at the formula y = m x + b as y = (slope) x + (intercept)

if you subtracting b that just means your y intercept is going to be negative

and its the same with your m, if its negative your slope is gonna be negative.
