As per given,

`c+b = 40` (i)

`3c=5b\\\\\Rightarow\ c=(5b)/(3)` (ii)

Put value of c from (ii) in (i)

`(5b)/(3)+b = 40\\\\\Rightarrow\ (5b+3b)/(3)=40\\\\\Rightarrow\ (8b)/(3)=40\\\\\Rightarrow\ 8b=3*40\\\\\Rightarrow\ 8b=120\\\\\Rightarrow\ b=(120)/(8)=15`

`c=(5*15)/(3)=5*5=25`

Hence, there are 25 crates and 15 boxes in the truck when it is full.
