I believe that Congress should not pass the Indian Removal Act of 1830. The Indian Removal Act was pointless. Even with where the settlers are, the natives are not in the way. They are in the far corner of the state. The settlers that already lived in Massachusetts alone have enough space already. If the natives left their homelands for unfamiliar territory, it would mean the death of their people. The emigrating natives would be seen as intruders by the tribes already in the land of Oklahoma. The Removal Act was unconstitutional, and it breached existing treaties. This is why I believe that Congress should not pass the Indian Removal Act of 1830.
