The gilded age is what we call the period in the history of the United States that starts in 1870 and lasted till 1891, a 21 year period of rapid and accelerated economic growth in several northern and western states, that was brought by industrialization, this created centers where workers were required and started cities and urbanization, since more and more workers were needed in a specific place, the work on the fields started to drecrease, and cities were born around this great industry places where all the companies were located.

This accompanied by the technological innovations came to change the way in which people lived and interacted with eachother.
