Given that,
1 notebook costs $6
1 folder costs 2$
Therefore, the cost of 5 notebooks= 6X5 (six times five) =$30
Similarly, the cost of 3 folders= 2X3 (two times three) =$6
Total amount= $30+$6 = $36
So the total amount Kelly needs is 36 dollars
