Marci needs to rent a storage. She needs to determine the volume of the storage unit. If the storage unit is 8 feet high, what is the volume of the storage unit

Okay. I’m not just going to flat out give you the answer, but I’m also gonna explain how to find the answer.

First off, you only need one side to determine volume.

Volume = length x width x height.

Currently we know: volume = ? x ? x 8ft

Lets make an inference that the the storage is completely symmetrical, all sides even. That’d leave us with: volume = 8 x 8 x 8 which is also 8^3. With that being said, the volume of the storage unit is 512.
