What do you think of when you hear the word statistics?

When I hear the word statistics I think of collection or data. I also think of the majority or population. Like when you take a survey, their collecting data about you/ whatever information they need. Or if you have ever done a science project before, you have to collect information about whatever you are trying to experiment.

Whenever I hear Statistics I think of numbers and the different probabilities

and I also sometimes think of numbers but overall, it depends on the sense of how it is being talked about I hear it about/the subject when people talk about statistics.
