Answer:

(a) A = -36

(b) B = -4

(c) 32

Explanation:

(a) Isolate the A variable to solve for A. Here you divide.

2/3A = -24

A = -24 / (2/3)

A = -36

(b) Here, you multiply then divide by -1 to get rid of the negative on the variable

20 = -B / 0.2

20 x 0.2 = -B

4 = -B

4/-1 = -B / -1

-4 = B

(c) The difference between these two numbers is found by subtracting them. Since the answer is negative, put it in absolute value to get a positive answer since distance cannot be negative.

-36-(-4)

= -32

absolute value = 32
