Following World War II, the world quickly began taking sides between communism and democracy. In a two paragraph response, please describe what you think led to the increase of communism in world politics? Also, what fears did democracies have with the spread of communism? Step-by-step explanation:

What led to the increase of communist involvement in world politics was them becoming an increasing superpower after the closing of WW2 and their development of their own atomic bomb soon after, after USA and Britain denied sharing their knowledge of how they made theirs.

As stated beforehand, this also singlehandedly increased the fears of the spread of communism, the war in Vietnam that was lost and Vietnam became a Communist state. The fear only increased whenever the USSR made the Warsaw Pact, which strengthened the bond of USST buffer states [Poland, Ukraine, Caucasus, etc.]
