The gravitational force is always equal to the mass times the acceleration due to the gravitational force:

⇒ In this case

  • mass: 1 kg
  • acceleration due to gravitational force: 9.8 m/s²

Let's calculate:

Gravitational_.Force = 1kg*9.8m/s^2=9.8N

Answer: 9.8 N

Hope that helps!
